Russian 7-string guitar. Anonymous, c:a 1900

This is a Russian seven string guitar with an unusual cut away. The guitar has gone through many changes; the most drastic one being the replacement of the bridge. The original had the type of bridge with pin holes that are typical of 19th century guitars. There has also been many cracks that are now repaired.

The good thing is that the sound is unusually big and deep and very beautiful. It is also very comfortable to play since the neck is somewhat wider than usual with Russian seven string guitars.

This is a guitar that is ready for use in concerts and recordings, but aesthetically, you might want to change the bridge to the original type.
