A wonderful eight string guitar made by the late Lars Bohman.
The two extra strings and cut away of this guitar is very practical for guitarists who want to expand their range in both directions (easier reach in high positions, more notes in the bass). It can be used for example in transcriptions from the lute or piano repertoire or in original 19th century music for 7- and 8-string guitar (Coste, Regondi, Mertz, Sychra, Sarenko, Vetrov etc).
The sound is very beautiful with very singing trebles with great sustain.
