This is truly a rarity, in fact it might be the only guitar of its kind. The eleven string alto guitar, designed by Georg Bolin was meant for guitarists that want to play renaissance lute music on a guitar. Because of the design of the basses (every bass string is longer), the guitar can only be stringed in one way (normally right handed). This guitar is for left handed guitarists wanting to play alto guitar.
